Jurica received his master's degree from the tennis department of the Faculty of Kinesiology in Zagreb. He is a licensed coach of the Croatian Tennis Association - A category. He is also the author of several specialist papers in the field of fitness preparation of tennis players and a lecturer at congresses: Fitness Preparation of Athletes (Faculty of Kinesiology in Zagreb), Fédération Internationale d´Éducation Physique Europe (Poreč) and Kinesiology Summer School. He has completed additional education in the field of Mental Preparation of Athletes under the guidance of Igor Čerenšek, MA in Psychology. Throughout his several years' working experience Jurica has focused on tennis players of ages 10, 12 and 14.
